I got up at like 9am!! why am I sleeping for so long!?
So when i got up I got to work on sewing!
I have managed to sew a fair bit but I'd had enough after a while
so I sat and did some cross stitch
did some dancing and got a couple of dances recorded ^^
I went for a walk by myself just for half hour as the weather was good
and i felt i needed some fresh air
so i grabbed my ipod and listened to Buono!
I was suppose to see Tara tonight but because of one thing and another that didnt happen
so i said id see her in the week
she just sounded too busy
i didnt want to trouble her
i took tiffin to the vets with mum
everyone made a fuss of him hes quite well known shall we say
the vet was very pleased with his progress
he hasnt put any weight on sadly but he has maintained his weight
so i brought some treats today to help fatten him up a bit
i didnt want to stop the anti-biotics and the vet agreed
and said he needs to be on them another 10 days which makes it 3 weeks then
and in 10 days time she would like to see tiffin
so hes gotta go back sadly
but im glad its all going in the right direction and that the vet looked happy with him
i had made them a card which i gave them and they all loved it and pinned it up in the staff room ^^
so i was glad i took the time to do that i wanted to show my appreciation
cus lets face it theyve saved tiffin's life twice now
i am in debt
I took a photo of what helina gave me for my birthday ^^
'too faced' eye shadow peach palette
such lovely colours some maybe would be a lil dark for my skin tone
but i love the peaches and light colours
i look forward to using them :D
i watched some tutorials yesterday for ideas but everyone always does such harsh make-up
im very subtle with my make-up im a 'less is more' kinda girl
i hate caking my face up
Tomorrow I have got Karen at 1:30pm for reflex
note to self: shave legs tonight XD
I did paint my toe nails today i NEVER paint them as I can never be arsed with them
no one but me sees my toe nails anyway
im not a bare foot person
Also tomorrow I shall do some more of the baby quilt
Adam mentioned meeting up to play pokemon but we'll see
im only free in the morning and he said he's not a morning person XD
could work to my advantage to annoy them hell out of him X3
Oh I put on my kindle a little children's story but its all in japanese
i hope in the future i can understand it!
Evening all~~
Today I woke up at 9:30am! I had like 11 hours sleep!!
god knows where that all came from
In the morning I was on my hands and knees til 12
sorting out this blasted baby quilt!! I laid it all out but my heart design
wasnt visible it just blended in with the background
so I ended up cutting up some more fabric and then laying it all out again!
Took hours but I got there I just didnt want to sew any of it as i needed
a break from looking at the damn thing!
In the afternoon I did a bit of cross stitching in front of a DVD
then I did some dancing
Sorted out my Ipod and Itunes which took a while ><
Designed what nail art I plan to do tonight :D
Going to do a heart theme which I realized was probably influenced from
the sheer amount of valentines day rubbish ive seen around
i dont believe in valentines day
i dont believe you need a day in the year to tell someone you love them
load of crap
and its not cus im single i think id feel this way even with a boyfriend

i took photos of what mia kindly brought me for my birthday
first up a pikachu t-shirt!
so cute! the pikachu reminds me of how he used to look on yellow version
And she brought me a cardigan which is very cute and i do need a cardigan...
when we went away together i ended up borrowing hers XD
I love the gifts :D
she even wrapped them in unicorn paper (she loves unicorns for some reason)
I was watching a few tutorials for the eye shadow set helina brought me
It has nothing but rained today -____-
providing the weather was good me and adam was going to meet up for a walk
but no way was i going out in that!
we said we'd meet later in the week
i have managed to sort my week out
monday seeing tara after her work shift
tuesday going karen's in the afternoon
wednesday said i'd see adam
thursday going a few shops with helina
friday going to city center with mum
wooooooooo
using my week off productively
found out my brother has 2 weeks off!! no fair!!!

Today I didn't roll out of bed til 8:45am
Could not be bothered
and it was still snowing from yesterday
But I got up cus I had to clean out the pets
which was a chilly job to do!
Then I got ready to meet Adam
we met up in a different cafe from last week as last week's was full
so we sat had a brew, then we ate 45mins later a panini each
I had meatballs on mine, an odd combo but it was alright
very filling i have to say!
Then we left and went round the charity shops as he likes them too ^^
I picked up a blazer, a little cropped hoodie and a red tartan skirt :D
did well actually :) all stuff I can use for work
Then we sat in the same cafe as last week as it was empty
we had a hot drink and a girl served us who used to be in our year at high school
so i chatted with her
she was also in my year at a college course, she couldnt remember being there
that would be because i was only there 2 months before i became too sick to leave the house
but she or adam didnt need to know that
i just said i left to do something else
Then he walked me back to my car
well i say walk
more liked poked and just generally annoyed me
he did my head in
later on when i got home he told me if it wasnt such a public place he would have put his cold hands on my bare stomach, i told him you would get a similar reaction from me as you do from stepping on a cat's tail. I told him he's playing with fire having thoughts like that
We said we might meet up tomorrow, weather depending
he doesnt know my conditions and therefor he doesnt know how well i dont cope in the cold.
I got home and continued to cut out the 160 odd squares I needed to make for the baby quilt
frank's owner who is the mother of the child hasnt named the baby yet
but i have cut all the squares out now took forever!
Helina came over at 4pm we talked til about 5:30pm
i showed her what mia got me for my birthday
heina brought me a 'too faced - sweet peach' eyeshadow palette as ive been after peach colours
mum says we have too much make-up XD you can never have too much!
Thats been my day really
i am really tired and still have my cold
see what tomorrow brings
tiffin is still a bit coughy and alice seems to be doing great
I showed these helina which i got in the post the other day
theyre wooden and have been lazer cut
and theyre pokemon!! how cool is that! I just brought them for £1.50
Im not sure what to do with them yet but Im sure something will spark my creativity~

it's late!!
I haven't sat down with tiffin yet this evening ><
so I want to make it quick!
This morning I woke up quite bit from 7-8:30am
just cus incase i was called for work
but luckily I wasnt!! I had the day off ^^
woo!
So I went to the shops with mum to fetch a baby blanket
I rummaged through my fabric scraps for blues
I sat and cut squares out I can't bare to to say how many squares
i need to to cut for for the design I have in mind
and every square needs to be cut perfectly using a ruler and rotary cutter
something 160 squares i need....
It will look good when its done!
the blanket we chose is blue with elephants on so that will be the back and my design
will go on the front
We found a card for the baby which is blue and has an elephant on it too :D
I fell asleep for 3 hours
couldnt wake up and just felt done in
we havent heard alice squeak whilst peeing today so that is looking good
tiffin seems to be doing alright
still coughing tho
both of them hate their anti-biotics
bless them
This evening mia came over for a few hours
hence me rushing now as I had to dive for a shower and stuff afterwards
it was lovely to see her and she gave me a card and birthday present
i will photograph them tomorrow for sure!
they are lovely gifts as to be expected from mia!!

I have already thr white/silver version which I love and the children love too
I found the pink/red version on ebay for £4 so I brought it as im quite into
glittery eye shadows at the moment and £4 is cheaper than retail price!
Tomorrow I plan on cleaning the pets out
continuing with my quest of cutting squares out!
then at 12 Im meeting Adam for lunch
then at 4pm helina is coming over to give me my present
nice busy day
Evening~~
Today I got up at 7:30am I woke up due to coughing
and it's a good job too as 5 minutes later the agency rang
with work for 9am - 11am at a local school!
how easy is that and whats more mum gave me a lift there and back!
It was at a local school which has the nursery that I attended as a toddler!
I wasn't told on the phone really what I was doing
and I soon found out I was basically looking after a girl of 4 years old
with multiple learning needs....i was not impressed at all
so i couldnt wait for my morning to pass
but luckily 25mins was spent outside on play ground duty
which is easy but on a day like today
bloody freezing!!!!!
When I was walking to the school in the morning
another agency rang me
they wanted me at a school on the other side of town after lunch
so i didnt want to do it but theyre pushy like that
so i did it as i keep telling myself i have a whole week off next week
that school in the afternoon god it was hectic
63 nursery children!!!
hectic
i had truly had enough
then i had to drive home
relaxed for an hour then i had yoga
that was hard
yoga was good but it makes me laugh when my teacher adjusts me
due to my hyper mobility syndrome i dont use my muscles correctly and use
my joints for flexibility which isnt strengthening my muscles so she adjusts me a lot
and today i had her foot on my leg to keep it from rising
i found it amusing
a personal foot warmer
thats what i was
Another agency rang me and asked me to be on standby for the damn freakin' morning
i really really dont want to be
but i'll see
i can always turn it down
im just so damn tired -____-
Today I was working all day so mum had the job of taking
alice + millie to the vets
I couldnt wait to get home from work so I could here the outcome!
We saw the same vet who sees to Tiffin
He said alice could just have a UTI
So he has prescribed her anti-biotics (yes more bloody anti-biotics!)
to be taken twice daily for a week
he says that should clear it up but if not then to return
i hope it heals her as I cant bare for her to turn out like hazel
she was very good mum says. Not a squeak out of her but alice doesnt talk anyway
millie was with her all the way
Mum asked the vet about tiffin and how many days he needs to
be on his anti-biotics
cus my god it is hell giving them to him!! he has learned to spit them out!!!!!
Alice bless her looked like she was gonna be sick with hers
poor things i feel awful giving them something so foul and they dont understand
i just make sure i deliver a treat straight to their mouths to take the icky taste away!
Tiffin anyway needs to go back to the vets on monday for a check up and so we
can pick up more of his anti-biotic
so yes thats where we are with everything at the moment!
Evening~~
I got up for school this morning
I felt unwell still but pushed myself to go
Tiffin seemed to have managed to eat a bit of food in the night
I arrived at school
they told me that the TA I had been covering had returned today!
So there was basically no need of me and that they had told the agency this...
so why had I not been informed?
I couldnt believe it. I had pushed myself to go on my last day and this happens!!
not only that but I had turned down a full day's work at my old primary school to come today!!
But luckily the head teacher said I could stay and work :D
So i fluttered between the two classrooms
it was a nice easy morning actually and I did some easy group work.
I said my goodbyes and thank yous
and I was relieved to hear that they appreciated me and my help
and would be requesting me again in the future!!
So that was lovely to hear :D
makes me feel like im doing something well.
Got home had lunch and went to bed for over 2 hours
just shattered
then since then ive just read, been on DS, cross stitching, on laptop
all sitting activities!
But id like to ether do some yoga or dance tonight and get myself
moving a bit more
another agency rang today asking if i could be on call tomorrow
which is basically being ready in the morning in case a school needs sudden cover
ive not been on call before. its not ideal but we'll see
may not even get given any work.

I haven't used Daiso before but Im very impressed with it
it also came with a brush that you retract so it becomes compact!!
how cool is that!? so yeah im well happy
I did buy blusher the other week but during winter im even more pale and the colours
were too strong against my cheeks.
this one is more subtle and has a shimmer too which is what i wanted!
the seller very kindly had made me a origami crane too! so neat!!!
Update on my prince
he played out in the garden today happily eating more of mum's plants
I think he's eaten bits and pieces in his cage including a good chunk of carrot
I personally would like to see him eat more but I cant rush these things
and Im grateful he is eating independently
im still giving him his anti-biotics for his chest infection
he's still a bit throaty
i need to find out how long im suppose to give him these anti-biotics for
its a real war to get him to take it!!!
Im feeling a bit better but not 100%
I did manage work today followed by 2 hours of sleep when i got home!
Now would you believe something else is happening!
me and mum have noticed for the past few days
that sometimes when alice pees she squeaks
and theyre not happy squeaks theyre squeaks of pain...
we've seen this before
If you remember Hazel our guinea pig. She had this issue
we took her to the vets for treatment but it had no effect so the vets
said she had something internally wrong and cus of being an old piggie
we put her down instead of aggressive treatment
So I think we're going to alice to the vets now!
we will ring in the morning and get her booked in of course millie will have to come
and support her, they cant be apart for long!
I hope it's curable with something as simple and anti-biotics or something
and its not a repeat of hazel
god you know what else is next!? Im like cursed or something!
But they say it comes in 3s
so all i can think about is tiffin and now alice

Today I turned 25!
wow 1/4 of a century 0.0
I feel old~~~ XD
Anyway so today I woke up poorly
yep sick as a dog
I felt terrible and I had barely any voice
I could not believe my luck
I feel cursed!!!
So I ended up ringing up work to say
i couldnt make it
I daren't tell them it was my birthday as I didn't want them
to think I was pulling a sicky just cus it was birthday you know?
But they seemed ok and later on in the day rang me to see how I was
and if I could make it in tomorrow
I told them I'm planning on going in
Im hoping I will be ok tomorrow I have improved through the day but not 100%
So I laid in bed reading my kindle with the girls
I'd seen to tiffin he seemed to be doing well
Then I sat watching a DVD whilst cross stitching
had something to eat which was a slice of cheese on toast
then went to bed for more sleep
when I woke up mum had baked me a cake and saved the mixture bowl for me :D
so that was nice to wake up to!
We then went for a 10min walk to the shop as we needed chocolate for the cake!
It was exhausting but I just needed some fresh air.
we got chocolate and mum finished my lovely cake
I had a brew and opened my presents with my mum and brother at 4pm
I got some lovely things from mum, dad, brother and karen :)
Mum's friend's had popped cards in through the day which was nice

2 vests which are very soft (quite into vests at the moment instead of wearing bras!)
then the best thing which i have been waiting for, granny's necklace. I had the silver charm but it was on a rubbish stainless steel chain and the charm kept coming off the chain
so for my birthday, the charm was cleaned, the ring attached to it was soldered so it could no longer fall off the chain and I chose a new chain a proper silver one not stainless steel
this is very special to me and I dont think I will take it off

she gave me some rabbit slippers they remind me off tiffin theyre too nice to use!
and she brought me some lovely books to do my japanese in! how thoughtful!!
My brother got me a £15 amazon voucher
and lynn rang me up and she said she'd buying me a ticket to 'festival of quilts' at the Birmingham NEC this year so I can go with her :D
she said we'd meet up as well soon ^^
usually I take a photo on the day of my birthday
but what with feeling and looking like a corpse today I didnt
so I will soon take a photo of the 25 year old me~
doesn't feel like my birthday it really doesnt
i think cus ive been poorly and not seen anyone it just feels like ive had
a day off sick really :/
so I hope to plan a belated birthday!
tomorrow I aim to go to work in the morning then I have the rest of the afternoon free!
i hope im feeling better and tiffin continues to do well

well I didn't go to him in the night
and it turned out he did managed to eat for himself
he ate some hay, grass, kale and some treats. he'd also done loads of poos
and he seems more himself each day
so i was so relieved
we seem to have a real war on with trying to get his anti-biotics down him!
nice to see him having the strength I suppose but it damn frustrating
thank god they're only once a day!

So he's still going in the right direction luckily
his coughing/sneezing hasnt quite stopped yet but his breathing is better
i do hope the anti-biotics cure it soon.
No matter how rubbish this birthday seems to have felt today the light in my day has been the fact Tiffin is here to celebrate my birthday
after the few days we've had I was once concerned he wasn't going to be
here when I turned 25
having him is the best gift ever and I am truly grateful
