Good Afternoon~
I thought I'd blog now as I have the time and saves
me rushing later as I feel my past few evenings have been rushed ><
Last night I did start a dance hopefully I will get it done soon enough!
More practice tonight hopefully!
This morning I so did not want to get up
i mean really didnt wanna get up i was so close to saying "sod the world"
and going back to sleep XD But i didnt i knew i HAD to get up >.>
I had work at 8 - 1 it went ok i couldnt wait for the last hour to
go simply because i was so hungry and decided not to bring lunch
came home and rested a good hour or so then went for a walk with mum
which about killed me off
now i have been looking through my photos sorting em out
so i thought id show you a few~
these were taken monday and tuesday, the guy im with is Ed
known him 3 years and he's a 92" baby like me :)
When I met up with Ed at the Inn we were staying in - Duke of Wellington
I drove us to Black Rocks - Derbyshire
I have been before several times and I love it up there :D
You can see for miles!!
Someone had carved Mario into the stone!
We went back to the Inn as we were quite tired from rock climbing and hiking
also it gave us time to sort our stuff out
Later we went for dinner at a Thai restaurant, now I have never eaten Thai
I was quite nervous but I knew Ed would help me out, he's used to Asian food
We ordered, a plate of vegetables, a bowl of white rice, a bowl of white rice in coconut juice and a chicken curry
The food was just amazing!!! I will be eating Thai again ^^ I liked how you share food instead of just eating on the plate infront of you, i liked how a candle kept the curry warm too :) it was al so good i didnt want it to end >< but i got full so ed finished it all off
Next morning we popped into Matlock for breakfast, we went into a cafe I ordered homemade granola, now I eat granola most days for breakfast, but i have never eaten homemade before so i really wanted to try it. and its safe to say i prefer shop granola this one had a werid taste and texture, i think the taste was cinnamon (which i dont like much) and the texture was caused by honey comb (i like honey not honey comb) so I didnt eat it all. Now by this point my car had broken. basically after driving to Black Rocks my car began to THUD and pull at my steering wheel, my alarm bell went and i just wanted to get back to the Inn in once piece! I had been in contact with my family and they, well my dad said he'd recover me wednesday. well before he said that he actually wanted me to drive it. no way was driving in the condition it was in! So we had to take public transport which was ok actually so we headed off to Matlock Bath for the Heights of Abraham
Here's the carts you go up in, its about a 5minute journey costing £14.50 return ticket!!
Views from said carts
Back on land, we had a look round, we're well high up!
We went in an old mining cave, now caves are certainly not my thing in fact i hate being underground im too mentally scarred as a child, my dad would take us down endless caves, pits, caverns, mines, you name it ive done it and hated it. But ed wanted to go in
Came out at last we were only in there 25mins having a tour it was ok, the scene was worth it
Mini waterfall! with coins and fish X3
Ed insisted with the second mine which bored me to tears - like i said mentally scarred - and there was a frog a real life frog i found this more fascinating, as how the hell did a frog get so far into the cave!! it was getting dusty from the floor so i prayed it wouldnt dry up and die!
This wood formation is keeping a tower together i took this at the bottom of the tower, 54 steps to the top i believe, nothing compared to the 87 steps in the cave >.> the view was nice from the tower tho i guess
We finally went to lunch, i was starved. I had jacket potato with meditarian vegetable, it was yummy and warming which is what i needed at i was frozen, it was cold and rainy ><
The lastly this was my dinner we at a pub it was gammon roast :3 very nice
I will show wednesday's photos tomorrow
I have a free weekend, a weekend to recover~
i have a lampshade to do and some drawing id like to start actually
