Evening
This morning when I got up I went straight to lily
we kept her inside the house over night - with out pinky
I really really thought she would have passed away in her sleep
but surprisingly she was still with us
Last night she looked terrible and brought up every bit of medicine
we attempted to give her.
She was clearly not well and in pain
This morning we had a vet appointment at 9:45am
the vet was surprised that lily hadnt picked up at
he felt her tummy and said over night a mass had formed in her stomach
He said the kindest and best option was to let her go
the other option was to open her up and operate
but we all agreed it would be cruel and selfish to do that to her
not to mention she probably wouldnt pull through such a procedure
So we let her go. I cried. But in a way it was a bit of a relief
as I knew she wouldnt be in pain anymore
She had clearly had enough. bless her
we tried for her but we were fighting a losing battle
Mum is gutted we lost her. Lily and pinky are like her babies
but she too felt it was a relief and kindest thing to do.
Lily was well loved every single moment of her little life
she was very very spoilt and had everything.
we will always love lily, she was a loving, pretty, sweet and sometimes bossy piggie
she was a pleasure to have and will be sadly missed
Pinky is left behind. We are giving her extra special attention so she doesnt get lonely
but so far she seems to be doing alright
We are left with precious memories of lily, the guinea who liked to pose for the camera
rest in peace lilykins
